Truth Drums Review – Hardcore drummer choice

The first thing you will notice about this kit is the big orange stripe in the center of the drum.  I personally like it.  I think it gives it style.  The shells of the drum are 7 ply full maple.  This gives them better sound and better projection.  And as we all know, maple wood is considered to be the best when it comes to live sounds.

The size of the drum is 24×16, 16×14, 13×8, 14×7.  The kick is about 16 inches deep which gives it that extra punch you want.  The tom is 14 inches deep and the snare is 7 inches deep.  This was done so you could get the perfect sound with the snare. You can tighten or loosen the head as you see fit.

Overall, this is probably one of the best sounding signature kits you will ever find.  It is perfect for the professional drummer or the drummer who is trying to get to that professional level.  And don’t worry, this kit is very affordable.  Truth drums created this particular kit in large batches which allowed them to lower the price and make it affordable to everyone.
